Aidah Collection for the National Cherry Blossom Festival!

The cherry blossom trees around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. have come to be as famous as the monuments. To celebrate and capture the beauty of the blossoms, Aidah Collection created a Limited Edition blouse and stylish tunic for 2009’s National Cherry Blossom Festival. The blouses were available at the DC Visitor Information Center during the festival.

 The National Cherry Blossom Festival offered designer clothing in their boutique for the first time. Inspired by the traditional Kimono, the unique stretch cotton blouses would make a day on the National Mall a comfortable and stylish one! The handmade pieces are adorned with a screen printed, hand-drawn design by Aidah Fontenot, inspired by the florets of the trees. The versatile style is one that can be worn this spring throughout the summer with fashionable ease. 

The Limited Edition Cherry Blossom blouse by Aidah Collection will not only provide great style and comfort, you will also be supporting a budding Washington DC designer and honoring one of the Nation's treasures.
